This morning I have been reflecting upon how Covid and all of the unrest in our country has turned my ministry world upside down.  Where I once (was it only a few months ago?) was preaching every Sunday in my church and sharing fellowship afterward, was meeting with my wonderful Wednesday Women's Bible Study group, was out greeting folks in the community, was flying off to some other part of the country once or twice a month to lead workshops, attend trainings or other tasks--now all of that is gone.  My world, like so many's situations, has become almost entirely virtual.  Even when I do go out, I am sure to wear a mask and to keep my distance.  Wow...such a different world now.  So am I sad this morning?  Actually, no.  I came across a quote that I used to love years ago.  It says this, "When nothing is for sure, then everything is possible."  So what is possible now that wasn't only months ago?  I certainly have increased my knowledge of online meetings and worship.  Where my church would not really have been in favor of online worship, by necessity that is now the way that we gather.  Because of that, there are people who watch that would never have otherwise.  Who knows what we will be able to innovate in the months to come?  I invite you today to join me in asking what invitation God has for you during this time?  What is He asking that you perhaps would never have before considered?  He is so creative.  I can't wait to spend time with Him to hear what He has for me!

Lord, You are always ready to surprise us if we open ourselves to Your leading.  Help us today to know that in this crazy time, everything is possible with You.  In Jesus' name, amen.

Eph. 3:20-21--20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
